Job Description :

We are seeking a qualified Application Security specialist for Web API & Secure Code Review to fortify our Group Information Security function. The primary objective is to design, engineer, and embed practical cyber/information security controls into all products and platforms.

Responsibilities :

  • Proactively embed security requirements by influencing the implementation of security & privacy patterns from the start of the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to include security patterns into features, epics, and stories, ensuring the creation of secure and innovative digital products.
  • Conduct security assessments and gap analyses, providing appropriate remediation plans to teams for implementation.
  • Proficiency in Web Application Security, Security Code review, and API security. Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Postman, Tenable Nessus, and Checkmarx.
  • Expertise in various components such as Web Application Security (Owasp top 10, CVSS), Security Code Review, and API Security Review.

Qualifications | Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (Computer Science, Cyber/Information Security, Physics, Mathematics, or similar).
  • Certifications in Information Security (OSCP, CEH, CISM/CISA), Cloud Security (CCSK/CCSP), or similar are desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an information security function, demonstrating strong Web application Security testing and in-depth testing skillset.
  • Proficiency in Microservice-based architecture and Continuous Integration, Containers, DAST/SAST tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, source code interpretation, and automation capability.
  • Ability to interpret and understand vulnerability assessment reports and articulate security threats effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively articulate security concerns to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • A positive and constructive attitude, able to work independently under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
